MY BIO
I am
Renata Santos, I was born in Venezuela, a tropical country full of vibrant colors and lush nature, which has deeply marked my connection with life and art.

I have lived in thirteen countries, which has allowed me to absorb diverse cultures and languages, but always keeping art as a constant in my life. My path took me from design, jewelry and painting, to finally discovering porcelain, the material with which I feel a deeper connection.
The name Tucusito, which means hummingbird in Venezuela, is a metaphor for my life. The hummingbird is a bird that is always on the move, but at the same time transmits serenity. Like my life, I have been through many places and times, but I always return to my essence: art as a universal language.
Each of my pieces is unique, created without rushing, letting the materials and my inspiration guide the process. I don't know when a piece will be finished until, in a moment of connection between my mind and body, everything clicks and I know it's ready. In my studio, there is no rush, only dedication and passion for every detail.
